The Hareball Shell from Destiny 2 [Pattern]

I made a Hareball shell! And I’m happy with it! I’m currently giving one away in a giveaway on Discord, and I’ll be putting up commissions for it on Ko-fi, but for people that want to make their own, I have a pattern available! Bear with me, I’ve not written any patterns before, so I hope it’s legible! And if you want a PDF download, I have one available on Ko-fi.

Using a strand of Color A, attach the ears to the body. Space them 5 rows above the eye and 2 stitches away from the cheek (fig a).

fig a

Using black or gray yarn, slip stitch into the surface of a stitch 3 rows above the eye, in line with one of the ears (fig b).

fig b

Slip stitch 1 more time above the initial slip stitch in a straight line parallel to the edge of the cheek, then slip stitch into the bottom 3 stitches of the first ear (Color A of the ear should touch Color A of the body)(fig c).

fig c

Fasten off the end of the black or gray yarn, and use a short length of matching yarn to make a visible stitch on the back of the ear (fig d). Tie off/weave in the ends.

fig d

Repeat above for the other ear.
